Authorities have launched a thorough investigation following a disturbing incident in which a woman was attacked with ammonia at an address on Whinfield Road. The incident unfolded shortly after 1.30pm on Sunday, March 3, sending shockwaves through the community.

According to initial reports, the victim, a woman in her 30s, had a substance believed to be ammonia thrown in her face. Swift action was taken, and the victim was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, her injuries were not deemed serious, and she has since been discharged.
