Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed during an altercation this morning in Kesgrave.
Officers were called at 9:25am on Thursday, May 1, following reports of a fight involving two men on a cycle path near Mead Drive. Upon arrival, police found a man in his 20s suffering from stab injuries.
The victim was taken to hospital, where his injuries have been confirmed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing, according to a Suffolk Police spokesperson.
Suspect on the Run
The male suspect fled the scene on foot and remains outstanding at this time. Police believe this was an isolated incident and confirmed that the victim and suspect are known to each other.
Residents in Kesgrave can expect to see high-visibility foot patrols over the weekend as officers work to reassure the community.
