Five Motorists Clocked at Over 100mph Face Instant Driving Bans
Nearly 100 drivers were caught speeding in just two hours on the A12 and A120, with five motorists exceeding 100mph, Essex Police have revealed.
The crackdown on dangerous driving took place on Sunday, February 9, in Mountnessing and Takely, where officers from the Roads Policing Unit monitored vehicle speeds.
Speeding Puts Lives at Risk
The A12, a major route linking east London to Essex, and the A120, which runs through Essex north of the capital, are often hotspots for speeding offences.
Drivers are urged to observe speed limits and drive responsibly to avoid losing their licence, receiving fines, or facing prosecution.
Anyone with concerns about dangerous driving is encouraged to report incidents via 101 or online through the Essex Police website.
