North Yorkshire Police have issued an urgent appeal to help identify a person of interest following a residential burglary on Lilac Grove in Harrogate. The incident took place overnight, between 11pm on Sunday, 6 April and 6am on Monday, 7 April 2025, leaving a local household shaken.

Items Stolen

According to investigators, the burglars made off with a black leather wallet and two Samsung Galaxy A8 tablets—one pink and one black. Police believe the intruder may have been captured on Ring doorbell footage, and have released both a still image and video clip in hopes the public can help track down the suspect.

“This is a concerning incident for the residents of Lilac Grove,” a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said. “We’re urging anyone who recognises the person in the footage to contact us immediately.”
