Early this morning, emergency responders rushed to Brighton Marina following an alert. The response included multiple units from the South Central Ambulance Service (SECamb) and coastguard teams from newhaven/" title="Newhaven" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Newhaven and Shoreham, indicating the seriousness of the situation.
A representative from Sussex Police provided details, stating, “Following a call about a medical emergency at Brighton Marina around 9am on Sunday, February 25, emergency services quickly arrived at the location. Despite the paramedics’ valiant efforts, a 36-year-old man was unfortunately declared deceased at the scene.”
Additionally, a spokesperson for HM Coastguard shared, “We were summoned earlier today to support the ambulance service at Brighton Marina. Rescue teams from Shoreham and Newhaven were mobilized, with South Central Ambulance Service and Sussex Police also present.”
The police have informed the man’s family and have indicated that the circumstances surrounding his death are not considered suspicious.
