Emergency services stormed East Ham High Street North at 3:53pm today after a blaze broke out in a terraced building. Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters scrambled to tackle the flames.

The London Fire Brigade confirmed the fire erupted in a flat on the third floor, sitting above commercial units. A towering 32-metre ladder was deployed to fight the aggressive fire.
