Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit has launched a murder investigation after a man in his 30s was found dead in Bracknell town centre on 26 April. Officers were called at 11.40am to Market Street, where the body was discovered. The victim’s next of kin have been informed, with formal identification and post-mortem examinations yet to be completed.
Multiple Arrests Made
Three men aged 35, 27, and 33, all from Bracknell, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and assault by beating. They remain in police custody as inquiries continue.
Police Scene Established
A scene watch is in place at Gowring House service yard in Bracknell town centre and is expected to remain for an extended period while detectives carry out their investigation.

“Our thoughts remain with the man’s next of kin following his death. We are in the early stages of a complex investigation and are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances surrounding this murder,” said Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown, Head of the Major Crime Unit. “Members of the public will notice an increased police presence. We advise anyone with concerns to speak to uniformed officers and urge the public to avoid speculation on social media while the investigation is ongoing.”
