A woman has sadly died following a house fire on The Link in Enfield

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus bought a woman out of the property. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A small amount of the ground floor was damaged by fire.

The Brigade was called at just after 2am. Fire crews from Enfield and Chingford fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation
