Police responded to a call at 4.22am on Sunday regarding an altercation at a commercial premises located on London Road in Barking. Two males, believed to be in their 30s and 50s, were found at the scene with head injuries. They were promptly transported by the London Ambulance Service to hospitals in east London, where their injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
A male suspect was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). As a precautionary measure, he was taken to the hospital before being transferred to an east London police station, where he remains in custody.
