Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are looking for witnesses after an incident near West Overton.
Officers had reason to stop a silver Ford Focus on the A4 between Savernake Hill and West Overton at around 8.30pm on Friday 27 May due to the alleged manner of driving.
In connection with the incident, a woman was later arrested and charged.
The vehicle is thought to have travelled a short distance through a densely populated area, with multiple witnesses.
