Appeal for witnesses after driver sadly dies in East Dean collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager sadly died in an East Dean collision. Officers were called to the A259 between East Dean and Exceat at 9.25pm on Saturday (30 May) after a grey Toyota Aygo was involved in a single vehicle collision. Sadly, the 17-year-old driver, was pronounced dead at the scene. An 18-year-old woman, a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. If anyone witnessed the collision or has any dash cam footage of the car prior please report online or call 101 quoting Operation Kingshill.
