Eltham Road Shut After Horror Crash Injures Six-Year-Old Boy
Young Boy Seriously Hurt but Expected to Pull Through
Eltham Road was sealed off for hours on Monday afternoon after a shocking crash involving a six-year-old boy.
Emergency services raced to the scene at 3.46pm following reports that a car hit the child. Paramedics treated him on-site before rushing him to hospital.
Thankfully, police say his injuries are serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Investigate Crash, No Arrests So Far
The Metropolitan Police have launched a full investigation but no arrests have been made at this stage.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a six-year-old boy before taking him to hospital,” a Met Police spokesperson confirmed.
Eltham Road remains a focus as officers seek to piece together exactly what happened in Kidbrooke.
