Armed police detain Man with a rifle at Woking station
Armed Officers from Surrey police and British transport police have attended #Woking station earlier this morning, following a report that a passenger was in possession of gun. Police sealed off part of platform six at the station whilst armed officers detained the man on the platform. The incident added more chaos to an already jam-packed Monday morning rush hour, as the South Western Railway strike causes congestion and huge crowds at a large number of stations. Commuters who witnessed the incident have described it as “crazy”. A spokesman for BTP said A man has been arrested in connection with the incident, and enquiries continue. A rule was also recovered by officers
