Armed Robbery at Coral Bookmakers in Hook

Police have released a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to about a robbery in Hook. The offence took place at the Coral bookmakers in Station Road, between 9.25pm and 9.35pm on Monday, May 2. A man carrying a knife approached the counter and demanded money from the 30-year-old shop worker. The man took around £780 and made off in the direction of the Tesco supermarket in Station Road. The man is described as wearing a black Nike hooded top and trousers, balaclava and trainers, and was carrying an orange-coloured bag. Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to about the robbery. Detective Constable Mark Ogburn, from Aldershot CID, said: “This is a rare incident to take place in Hook, but I would appeal for anyone who has any information about what happened to contact us as soon as possible. “Were you in the Station Road area at around this time? Perhaps you were in one of the nearby pubs or restaurants? Did you see a man dressed in black clothing acting suspiciously?
