Bank Tube Station Evacuated After Smoke Seen from Northern Line Train

A busy London tube station was evacuated today after smoke was spotted coming from one of the carriages. Transport for London (TfL) Access confirmed on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Bank station was closed around 5 p.m. on October 8 due to the incident.
Bank station has since reopened after the all-clear was given by emergency services.
