A man in his 40s has been rushed to the hospital following a stabbing in Brixton. Police were called to Streatham Place near Streatham Hill station shortly before 2:30 am this morning (Thursday, June 28) after reports of the attack.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 2:24 am on Thursday, June 27, to reports of a man suffering from stab injuries in Streatham Place, SW2. The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to a south London hospital where his injuries were deemed to be not life-threatening or life-changing.

It is believed that he was stabbed in Brixton Hill, SW9. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting 758/27JUN or message @MetCC on X.
