An officer who searched police computer systems for his own purposes has been sentenced at court following an investigation by Met anti-corruption officers

Police were called by LAS at 12:56pm on Sunday, 12 May to Staines Road, junction with Martindale Road, Hounslow, following reports of a collision involving a motorcyclist and a number of vehicles.

Officers, paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance responded.

Paramedics treated the motorcyclist, aged 60, but despite their extensive efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers have informed the next of kin. They are being supported by specially trained officers.

All drivers stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.

Serious Collision Investigation Unit detectives ask anyone who can help with information or dash footage to call 101 or post @MetCC ref CAD 3440/12 May.
