Did you witnesses an Assault in Minster

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Minster, Ramsgate. At around 3pm on Monday 13 August there was a disturbance involving a man and woman in Minster Road, near to the railway station. It is believed the pair then got into separate silver cars and drove through Minster before stopping in the area of Way Hill, just before 4pm, where the woman reported being assaulted. Officers attended the area and a 23-year-old man from Minster was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released on bail until Sunday 26 August 2018. Anyone who saw the disturbance near to the railway station, the two silver cars travelling in close proximity around Minster or the subsequent assault in Way Hill is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 13-0854.
