Emergency services are currently at the scene following reports that a person has been struck by a train at King’s Cross Underground Station in central London.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:30pm this afternoon on the Hammersmith & City Line, near Platform 1 at the busy transport hub on Pentonville Road, N1. British Transport Police (BTP) and Fire and Rescue Units were rapidly mobilised to the scene.

A London Fire Brigade First Response Unit (FRU) has also been deployed, alongside rail operations and paramedic teams. Details of the condition of the person involved have not yet been confirmed.

Rail Disruption Likely

Transport for London (TfL) has not yet issued a formal service update, but significant disruption is expected across the Hammersmith & City Line and connecting routes at King’s Cross St Pancras, one of London’s busiest interchange stations.
