Fire crews called the blazing Mayfair building
Sixty firefighters have tackled a building fire in the centre of the London this afternoon https:///youtu.be/wp1Gr_OeYG4 Police are on scene at a fire and surrounding roads have been closed. Firefighters have put the fire out but there remains a lot of smoke. Road closures are currently in place on Albermarle Street, Stafford Street, Old Bond Street To Dover Street. Everyone accounted for, no one is trapped inside the building. A London Fire Brigade spokesman said: ‘Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters have been called to a fire at a restaurant in Albemarle Street in Mayfair. ‘Half of the ground floor kitchen and half of the ducting from ground floor to roof level is alight.’ The spokesman added: ‘The Brigade was called at 1608. Fire crews from Soho, Lambeth, Kensington, Euston, Paddington, Chelsea and Dowgate fire stations are at the scene.
