Firefighters Tackle Blaze at East Dulwich Grove as Road Closures and Bus Diversions in Place

Emergency services responded to a significant fire at a property on East Dulwich Grove, London, on Tuesday evening, 17th September 2024. Multiple calls were received around 6 pm reporting smoke issuing from the roof and scaffolding on the top floor of the building.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) has dispatched four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform with a total of 30 firefighters and officers currently at the scene, working to control the blaze. The fire has prompted road closures, and buses in the area have been diverted to avoid the affected routes.
As of now, there have been no reports of injuries. Emergency services are expected to remain on-site overnight to fully extinguish the fire and assess any further risks.
