Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision on the M20 that claimed the life of a man in his 20s. The incident occurred at approximately 6:15 am yesterday near Junction 1.

The man, who has been named locally as Freddie Slater from Sidcup, was driving a blue Smart car when it collided with two other vehicles. Despite the efforts of emergency services, Mr Slater sadly died at the scene.

Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward. A police spokesperson said, “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the blue Smart car before the collision or anyone who may have dashcam footage that could assist in our investigation.”
