Man Charged in Connection with Serious Assault in Archway

A 22-year-old man has been charged following a serious stabbing near Archway Station, which left a man hospitalised.

Incident Details

  • Police were called at 10:28 PM on Saturday, 15 February, after a man in his 20s was admitted to hospital with stab wounds.
  • Investigations revealed that the assault occurred in Navigator Square, N19.
  • The victim remains in hospital, though his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Suspect Charged

  • Richard Sivanda, 22, of Highgate Hill, N19, has been charged with:
    • Grievous bodily harm with intent (GBH)
    • Possession of an offensive weapon

Court Appearance

  • Sivanda has been remanded in custody and is set to appear before Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 19 February.

The Metropolitan Police continues to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
