The first image of the man tragically stabbed to death during a street argument on Boxing Day in Hackney has been released. Michael John Murphy, 49, lost his life following an altercation involving up to 10 individuals in Cranwood Street, Hackney, near the Old Street Tube station at approximately 3:10am.

While the incident is still under investigation, four individuals—two men aged 49 and 42, and two women aged 35 and 44—were initially arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday. However, they have since been released with no further action.
