A 27-year-old man has been locked up for 16 years following a horrific attack on a woman in Flintshire.
Dumitru-Robert Lactus Found Guilty of Multiple Sexual Offences
Dumitru-Robert Lactus, from Welsh Road, england/garden-Citycity-Englandengland/”>wales/garden-Citycity/”>wales/garden-city/”>Garden City, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Monday, 29 September. He was convicted of rape, assault causing physical harm, intentional suffocation, and threats to kill.
Long-Term Protection for Victim
- Lactus received a 16-year prison sentence.
- He must also register as a sex offender indefinitely.
- An indefinite restraining order has been put in place to protect the victim.
