Serious Crash Shuts A27 in East Sussex
A major smash has closed the A27 completely between the A26 at england/england/beddingham/”>beddingham/”>Beddingham and the A2270 at Polegate. Emergency crews were called out just before 11pm last night after two vehicles collided.

Sussex Police are spearheading a multi-agency response. East Sussex Fire & Rescue sent two appliances and officers who swiftly put out a small car fire and secured the scene. The South East Coast Ambulance Service is also on site.
