Person Struck by Train at Barnes Railway Station – Emergency Services Respond

Emergency services are responding to a serious incident at Barnes Railway Station in southwest London, where a person has been struck by a train.

The alarm was raised at 10:30am on Wednesday, 28 May, with National Rail confirming that emergency protocols were activated immediately. The incident occurred near Station Road, Barnes,  prompting a major response from London Fire Brigade, London  ambulance services, and  Officers from the British Transport Police.

Severe Disruption to Rail Services

National Rail has warned of significant disruption on services running through the Barnes area, particularly affecting routes via South Western Railway. Delays, cancellations, and rerouted services are expected for the rest of the morning and into the afternoon.
