The 20-year-old man who was murdered near Farringdon Station a few days ago has been identified as Abdul-Latif Pouget. Authorities released his identity earlier today following the tragic incident that took place in central London.
Metropolitan Police confirmed that Oguzcan Dereli, 26, of Islington, has been charged with the murder of Abdul-Latif Pouget. Dereli is expected to appear in court as the investigation continues.
The attack, which occurred close to Farringdon Station, prompted a heavy police response and led to the immediate closure of the surrounding area as officers and emergency services attended the scene. Despite efforts by paramedics, Mr. Pouget was pronounced dead at the scene.
