Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Racially Aggravated Incident at Shell Petrol Station

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for witnesses following a racially aggravated public order incident that occurred on Tuesday, 3 September, at the Shell petrol station on the northbound A34 at Sutton Scotney services.

The incident reportedly took place between 9am and 9.20am. During the altercation, a man in his 30s was verbally abused and threatened, with the incident believed to have been racially motivated.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been inside the petrol station at the time and witnessed the incident or has any information or footage that could assist the investigation.
