Police Are Appealing For Information And Dashcam Footage After A Pedestrian Died Following A  Fatal Collision On The A2 Near Dartford

The incident happened at around 2.45am on Saturday 12 November 2022, at a location close to Dartford Heath on the London-bound carriageway. Officers and ambulance crews attended, and a woman was declared deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

The collision involved a white DAF lorry and it is reported that prior to the incident the woman had been travelling in a grey BMW which had stopped on the coastbound carriageway.

An investigation by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit is ongoing, which has led to the road being closed. The coast-bound route was reopened at 10.15am.
