Police Continue Investigation Into Alleged Sexual Offence Against Teenage Girl in Orpington Park

Police have issued an update following an alleged sexual offence against a teenage girl in Priory Gardens, Orpington, on Saturday evening, February 22.

The victim reported being attacked while walking through the park near Court Road, prompting a swift response from the Metropolitan Police. Officers arrived at the scene shortly after the report and established a cordon to preserve evidence.

In a statement released today (February 24), a Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed that the cordon remains in place as investigations continue. “Police are currently investigating a serious sexual offence allegation reported to have occurred against a teenage girl on the evening of Saturday 22nd February, when she was walking through Priory Park in Orpington,” the spokesperson said.

“No arrests have been made at this time, and enquiries are ongoing,” they added.
