-A police pursuit involving a suspected stolen white Jaguar on the Londonbound A2 resulted in approximately 10 motorists’ vehicles being damaged as the Jaguar’s driver attempted to manoeuvre through traffic. The incident unfolded around 2:30 pm today, creating chaos on the busy road.
According to a police spokesman, the dramatic pursuit began when a vehicle believed to be stolen tried to evade pursuing officers. The pursuit came to a halt on the London-bound A2 Watling Street, near the junction with Wrotham Road.

During the pursuit and subsequent attempts to pass traffic, the Jaguar caused damage to multiple vehicles on the road. The carriageway had to be temporarily closed as officers detained the suspects and assessed the situation.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and the road has since been reopened to traffic.
Three men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and have been taken into custody while further investigations are conducted. The incident has prompted inquiries into the stolen vehicle’s origin and the circumstances surrounding the pursuit.
While the full extent of repair costs remains uncertain, it is expected that the damages incurred by the motorists involved will not come cheap.
