Police Seek Assistance in Dangerous Dog Incident Near Tesco Express Store

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man connected to a recent incident involving a suspected dangerous dog. The incident occurred outside the Tesco Express store on Downland Drive, Southgate, Crawley, at approximately 18:00 on February 26.

According to reports, a Rottweiler escaped and caused harm to both a woman and her own dog. The injured woman has come forward to report the incident, and she sustained injuries during the encounter. Her dog was also harmed.

Sussex Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak with in connection to this incident. The individual is described as:

  • Age: Between 20 and 30 years
  • Height: Approximately 6 feet
  • Appearance: Short dark hair, facial hair
  • Clothing: Dark jeans, trainers
