Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Lewd Conduct Incident – UKNIP

British Transport Police are appealing to the public for information regarding an incident involving inappropriate behavior on public transportation.

On Friday, January 5, at approximately 3:30 pm, a 16-year-old girl boarded the Piccadilly Line at Kings Cross station. During the journey, she became aware of a man staring at her in a concerning manner. Upon closer observation, she realized that the man was touching himself over his trousers, according to statements from the British Transport Police.

The man exited the Tube at Southgate underground station following the incident.

To further their investigation, law enforcement officers have released an image of an individual they wish to speak with. They believe this individual may possess vital information that could assist in their inquiries.

Members of the public who recognize the individual in the image or have any information pertaining to the incident are urged to contact the British Transport Police immediately. Information can be provided by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, referencing case number 2400002273.

Alternatively, individuals can choose to share information anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
