A pregnant woman has been rushed to hospital following a hit-and-run collision in Dagenham on Friday night (February 21).

Emergency services were called to Wood Lane at approximately 9:56 PM after reports of a two-car crash. Officers from the Metropolitan Police, alongside crews from the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service, attended the scene.
Detective Inspector Sarah Keaton, leading the investigation, said:
“Leaving the scene of an accident, particularly one resulting in injury, is a serious offence. We are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage, to come forward and help us find the driver responsible.”
