Serious Collision on the M25 near Chorley Wood causes gridlock
The M25 in Hertfordshire is closed anti-clockwise between Junction 18 (near Chorley Wood) and Junction 17 (Mill End) due to a serious road traffic collision. Hertfordshire Police, emergency services and Highways England Traffic Officers are currently in attendance. Road users are advised to follow the “Hollow Square” diversion symbols. From M25 Junction 18 exit slip turn left at signals onto A404 towards Rickmansworth. At the first roundabout, A404/A412 take 2nd exit onto A412 towards Slough. At the second A404/A412 roundabout take 3rd exit onto A412 towards Slough. At “Maple Cross Roundabout” take 2nd exit onto link road towards M25. At M25 Junction 17 roundabout take 1st exit to rejoin M25 towards Heathrow. Road users are also advised to allow extra time for their journey.
