Four Essex Police Officers Have Been Injured After Being Attacked While Carrying Out Their Duties In The Last 24 Hours.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a harrowing road traffic collision (RTC) on the A120 near Great Notley, Essex, between Braintree and Stansted earlier this evening. The incident, which involved multiple vehicles, occurred shortly before 6pm, and Officers are urging witnesses and those with information to come forward.

As a result of the collision, the westbound carriageway of the A120 has been closed, and it is expected to remain closed well into the evening as investigators meticulously examine the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.

For the safety of all those affected, motorists currently caught in queues near the accident scene are strongly advised against attempting to find alternative routes. Law enforcement officers are diligently working to release the trapped traffic in an organized and secure manner.
