Trains Suspended At Folkestone Central After Man's Mobility Scooter Falls From Platform On To The Track

Train services have been affected following the incident at Folkstone Central involving the scooter that fell onto the track at around 12.30pm on Wednesday 23rd March 2022 Services have not been run to Dover or Ashford since the incident that has seen emergency services called to the station. Paramedics have been treating the man who fell onto the platform during the incident that has seen all services suspended. A statement from Southeastern issued over social media channels said: “Trains are unable to travel through Folkestone Central due to emergency services responding to an incident at the station. “Emergency Services are now on site. Services will be disrupted until the incident is resolved. Your ticket can now be used at no extra cost on Stagecoach route 10 between Ashford and Folkestone, and route 102 between Folkestone and Dover.
