Police have arrested two men after a robbery at the Vodafone store on Marlborough High Street, during which approximately £20,000 worth of stock was stolen.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, when staff at the store were threatened by two men who then fled the scene with the stolen goods.
Pursuit and Arrests
Following the robbery, the suspects were pursued by police on the A338 near Hungerford. Both men were arrested on suspicion of robbery after a brief pursuit.
The driver of the getaway vehicle was also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. The two suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue.
Appeal for Information
Wiltshire Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have information about the robbery or who might have captured footage of the incident or the suspects’ escape to contact us,” a police spokesperson said.
