In a concerning incident on Saturday, officers from Durham Police in Shildon discovered a 29-year-old man riding a quad bike on a road with a ten-month-old baby positioned on the front of the vehicle. Shockingly, neither the rider nor the infant were equipped with any protective clothing or headgear, raising alarms about the safety of their journey.
The reckless act prompted immediate intervention from police, resulting in the 29-year-old rider being reported for a range of driving offences. These include driving otherwise by a licence and driving with no insurance, highlighting a blatant disregard for road safety regulations.
