A huge fire has ripped through Glasgow city centre, forcing 60 firefighters to battle flames that have already caused building collapses and threaten the historic Central Station.
The inferno began around 3:45pm in a vape shop on Union Street, quickly engulfing a whole block at the corner of Union and Gordon Streets. Nearby hotels and residents were evacuated as the fire tore through the area.
