Kent Police was called to a reported burglary at a business in the Beaver Lane area at around 12.30am on Tuesday 13 December 2022.
Officers from Ashford Local Policing Team attended, along with a Kent Police dog handler and police dog Elsa (pictured). They found a door at the premises had been damaged.
Following a search by PD Elsa, a man was arrested nearby on suspicion of burglary.
The 29-year-old, who is from south London, remains in custody while enquiries into the incident continue.
