Armed Robbery at One Stop in Chatham
Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a shop robbery reported in Chatham. The robbery happened in Rainham Road at around 9.30pm on Tuesday 15 May 2018 where three men are reported to have entered the shop and threatened a staff member. One man is alleged to have used a knife to threaten an employee before jumping over the counter and stealing a quantity of cash. The other men then demanded that the worker opened up a safe where more money was stolen. These three men then left the store and were seen running away towards the One Stop convenience shop and into a car park behind the store. The suspects have been described as three white men and two were heard to talk with local accents. One man was of a slim build with brown hair and the two other men were both described as around 6ft and of a stocky build.
