Suspect Arrested Minutes Later
Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene after the stabbing. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Police quickly arrested a 39-year-old man nearby on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody.Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 16:26 on Wednesday, 4 March following reports of a stabbing in Walworth," a Met Police spokesperson said.
