Body Found at Farlington Marshes in Portsmouth
Police have closed the car park to Farlington Marshes in Portsmouth this afternoon (Friday 20th January 2017) following the discovery of a dead body. Police responded to reports that a man was unconscious at around 4pm this afternoon. When they arrived they found the man had died. The death of the man is not being treated not being treated as suspicious The car park remains sealed off and closed whilst officers from Hampshire Police carry out an investigation on behalf of the Portsmouth coroner court. It is understood a file will be prepared in due course. Visitors to the popular nature site that contains coastal grazing marsh and lagoon are being asked by the police to avoid the area for the next few hours. More to Follow
