Man, 27, Held After Horror Rape Near Worthing Hospital Car Park

A 27-year-old man was arrested following a brutal rape in a town centre car park in Worthing.

The alleged attack took place around 8pm on Wednesday, March 11, in the Lyndhurst Road car park near a local hospital.

Suspect Nabbed, Police Probe Ongoing

Police swooped on the suspect two days later, on Friday night (March 13). He remains in custody as enquiries continue.

Specialist officers are supporting the victim, a woman in her 20s.

The woman, in her 20s, continues to be supported by specialist officers.
