Employee Sparks Massive Fire
A raging six-alarm fire ripped through a 1.2 million-square-foot Kimberly-Clark warehouse in Ontario, California, after a disgruntled employee deliberately set it alight. 29-year-old Chamel Abdulkarim filmed himself at 12:30am lighting mountains of toilet paper, paper towels, and nappies on fire. “All you had to do was pay us enough to f*cking live… there goes your inventory,” he ranted in the shocking video.
Firefighters Fight Inferno, No Injuries
Over 100 firefighters battled the monstrous blaze for hours. The warehouse’s fire suppression system initially helped but failed when the roof gave way. Luckily, all 20 workers inside escaped unharmed.
Arson Arrest & Aftermath
Chamel Abdulkarim is now in custody, charged with arson. His fiery protest against low wages has caused an estimated $156 million in damage and threatens paper product supplies in the region.
“You may not pay us enough to f*cking live, but these btches dirt cheap… There goes your inventory,” Abdulkarim said.
While his stunt may have been fueled by desperation, it has only destroyed his own future and devastated his co-workers’ jobs. Insurances aside, this madness is a massive loss all round.
