Breaking News: Heavy Rain Causes Wide spread Flooding in the South
Heavy rain is affecting parts of the South this evening. We are getting reports of localised flooding in some areas. The A3090 Northbound has been closed due to accident between Gardeners Lane and A27 / A3090 Pauncefoot Hill. Firefighters from Romsey attended a traffic collision involving a vehicle on its side this evening. One casualty was extricated from the vehicle and transported to hospital by the Ambulance service. A spokesman for SCA said the man was taken to Southampton General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The road was closed until about 10pm.
