A Burnley drug dealer has finally been locked up after police caught him twice carrying heroin and crack cocaine.
Police Chase Fails as Dealer Flees
On 8th December last year, David Green, 41, was spotted driving a VW Caddy on Plumbe Street during a suspected drug deal. When officers tried to stop him, he broke free and fled the scene.
But a search of his van revealed 12 knotted bags of crack cocaine and four of heroin, along with two iPhones. Texts on one phone showed clear signs of drug dealing.
Found Hiding in Loft – Massive Haul Discovered
Police hunted down Green and forced entry into a property on Parklands View, Burnley, on 27 January. They found him hiding in the loft and arrested him on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
A full search uncovered 56.7g of heroin and 13g of crack cocaine worth over £4,200, plus £1,456 cash and weighing scales used to pack drugs.
Green Slapped with Five Years and Seven Months Behind Bars
Green, from Longton Road, Burnley, pleaded guilty to multiple drug offences, including possession and supply of heroin and crack.
