A cyclist was rescued from Saltdean Beach this morning after crashing from the undercliff promenade. The Newhaven Coastguard Rescue team was paged early in the morning to respond to the incident.
In the event of a coastal emergency, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard. The quick response and coordinated efforts of the rescue teams ensured that the cyclist received appropriate medical attention.
